Review:
I am so happy to have gotten back into the Lovers and Legends series. I fell in love with Reynold in Her Dark Knight's Redemption and I couldn't wait to see how this book branches out from that story. I was most definitely not disappointed!
The Maiden and The Mercenary is a real page turner filled with secrets and deception. It didn't take long before I was drawn into the story. The story was well written and easy to read. The characters were well developed and enjoyable. While there were a couple parts that I didn't particularly enjoy and found a little off, this was still a good solid read overall.
Nicole first discovered romance novels hidden in her grandmother’s closet. Convinced that hidden books must be better, Nicole greedily read them. It was only natural she should start writing them (but now not so secretly).
